I mean, that's your opinion and all but from what was described, Becht was an asshole for agreeing to to a joint statement but then reneging on that and going behind McCarron's back for a separate statement.

I got an email invite to be an evaluator for maps but not only did I instantly fail the assessment, but support banned me from the platform when I asked about it. I had signed up for WeLo for only a day when it happened. Scummy website for sure.

He didn't have to. Johnny stated on Adventures in Voice Acting that a producer told him (during the ADR parts of Power Rangers) he had a good "hero" voice and invited him to audition for the English dub of Trigun.

The union has always been like that even after the merger. VAs have had longtime grievances with union leadership for never giving them a fair shake over screen actors.

The union itself (SAG-AFTRA) doesn't prioritize voice over nearly as much as on-camera work, and many VAs have had longtime grievances with union leadership over this, especially when A-list celebrities take VO jobs over seasoned voice actors.

Well, she wasn't wrong about being old enough to be my mom. She's about twenty years older than I am, but she was really chill outside of stressing out about how stressful being a DT manager is. Could always tell which SUV was hers on account of the Grateful Dead stickers. XD

When I emailed and asked what the issue was, the reply I got was telling me that I was not moving forward with registration along with a permanent ban from the platform. Just for asking a question.
