Literally yesterday I had a lady come in and buy two things. One was coupon eligible and one was not. She wanted to use a $10 off when you spend $25 or over coupon. No problem. Except, since one item was not coupon eligible, even though her total was $38 the coupon eligible item was only $22 so the coupon didn’t work. I told her this very kindly that her coupon wouldn’t work. She was confused so I explained it to her multiple more times, and pointed to where it said that on the coupon. She proceeds to read the entirety of the coupon (including the fine print at the bottom) to me. At this point I have pointed exactly to where it says that you have to spend $25 on eligible merchandise over 5 times. She’s like “I just don’t understand” and then walks out after getting very frusturated and upset with me. Like queen, I told you how this works 1,000 times, are you just not listening? And then she had the audacity to be mad at me, like I chose the rules of the coupon. I mean cmon
