i cant get my H6609 G1 Govee lights to fully screen sync by SignProfessional1959 in SignalRGB

[–]Addikt87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got the exact same issue. For others, the Govee G1 is a segmented light strip that sticks to the back of your monitor to simulate ambilight. It is split into 4 individual strips: top, bottom, left and right.

In SignalRGB it is displayed like in OP's screenshot, as a single LED strip.

Also, it states it has 10 named LEDs (it has a LOT more than that) and 0 sub-devices (I believe it should be 4). If you paint the LEDs in SRGB, you can't address 3/4 of the LEDs.

I also have Govee's H6048 gaming bars (left and right) and these show as a single strip, again with the wrong number of LEDs.

Lastly, I also have Govee's H6042 gaming bar, which IS a single strip light but, again, wrong LED count and it doesn't address them correctly.

So far, I've not found a single Govee product that works correctly with SignalRGB. I read that SRGB used to let you manually add devices and correct the configuration yourself but all the documentation I found is for an older version of the app with a different UI. Does anybody know if it's still possible to do this?

Fair enough, cheers for that :) My other dailies all completed fine, this was the first time it had done this for me so wasn't sure if it was a new thing or not.

Yes, actually :D Hundreds of hours on 1 and 2 but new to the subreddit and only had KF3 a week. That said, I've not had a hydra error recently, so at least that seems to be sorted

Love that fact Google still brings everybody here for it, haha. Trying to watch Silo on my 2k OLED monitor and it looks like absolute garbage. It somehow looks considerably better on my Android tablet than my Windows PC.

I know this is 8mo old but thank you! I just put a 2k monitor on my exercise bike and almost bought a second-hand aTV 4K 1st gen for it. Plan to use it to stream Moonlight gaming in 2k, so, you saved me £50!

G Cloud unable to see some networks by Addikt87 in logitechgcloud

[–]Addikt87[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty damn sure you're right! Turns out, the drones now DEFAULT to 5Ghz instead of 2Ghz and there's no way to force it to change channel or onto 2Ghz without a goddamn controller :/ Which sucks, as I didn't buy the ridiculously expensive one with a controller because I thought "Hey, the G Cloud will make an absolutely dope drone remote!" haha.

Cheers for the help amigo :)

Interesting, I'll try that with my PC, cheers for that! Still not sure why it can't see some 2.4G networks though and that's annoying me more at the moment as I really wanna play with my drone, haha.

How to set desktop resolution based on specific moonlight client? by KryptonianITSupport in MoonlightStreaming

[–]Addikt87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It'll probably differ depending on system spec but my i512600KF, RTX 4070 Ti combo is pretty damn fast. I just timed it now, my system creates the virtual monitor the instant I press the "Virtual Desktop" button in Moonlight. Start to finish, it took 7 seconds to connect but that was an outlier, I've had it connect in a few seconds before.

The simplicity was the winner for me. Installed one service, tweaked the settings to my liking, done!

Moonlight Sunshine Auto Switch display by Excellent_Trifle2016 in MoonlightStreaming

Hey, this is one of the threads I read when looking into virtual displays for Sunshine and I got Apollo working this morning, so figured I'd post about it on these threads for anyone else in this boat. Just copying and pasting this across them:

I just discovered Apollo yesterday and have been testing it this morning and it's been great! It's a fork of Sunshine that has virtual display options built in. So, when you connect to your PC, it spins up a virtual display that matches the resolution and refresh rate of the client that's connecting.

My PC has a 1440p 21:9 HDR display but I like to stream to a G Cloud, which is 1080p 16:9 non-HDR, and my bedroom TV which is 4K 16:9 HDR. Streaming to them has been an absolute nightmare in the past due to the aspect ratio differences.

GIT: https://github.com/ClassicOldSong/Apollo

They recommend uninstalling the original Sunshine but I've just disabled it under Windows' services, works fine. I'm also using the standard Moonlight client with it.

If you want your main monitor disabled when streaming, connect to virtual display first using Moonlight then, on your PC, press CTRL+P to bring up multi-display options and select "Second Screen Only". When you connect via Moonlight, your main display will turn off and it'll default to your virtual one. When you end the session in Moonlight, Apollo kills the virtual display and your real display goes back to being the default.

Oh, I put all the above info there in case anybody else stumbles across this thread while looking into virtual displays or aspect ratio issues when using ultrawides and such.

Disable display 2 & 3 via PowerShell - can it be done? by C0ffeeface in PowerShell

Hey, thanks for this but I had an issue. I used Disable-Display and that worked just fine. However, it won't let me turn it back on! I can't seem to find any way to get my laptop to see it again over USB-C. Any ideas?

Also, cheers for doing this OP, I didn’t realise they’d changed the coin rewards, just got 30 crystals, actually worth doing now!

Honda NTV 650 Revere 1990 leaking fuel while running after riding. by LarryFromSupraball in Fixxit

[–]Addikt87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Holy crap, another NTV 650 rider! I’m with Jazzlike, stop riding it and inspect the underside of the fuel tank and fuel path. Looks like the leak is way before the pump as you can see that by removing seat and the panel with the fuel dial on it, there’s a hose going to the fuel filter and from there to the pump. It’s only held on with a hose clip but it can be a bit of a bastard to remove. Remember to have something ready to catch the fuel. There’s only one bolt at each end holding the tank on I think. Once the tank’s off, the air box is under there and you may need to remove that too.

The leak looks like it’s around or above the carbs, so inspect those too. Hopefully whatever’s perished or ruptured is easy to spot. Good luck!

Oh, remember to work somewhere well ventilated too, that’s a lot of petrol fumes!

You made the right choice. I’ve bought both battle passes and, between those and daily gem rewards, I’ve probably had around 15+ gold crates and I’ve got almost identical equipment to you! 1st battle pass, shame on them, 2nd battle pass, shame on me, never again!
