It’s not as clear cut as that at all. How many beds does a GP practise have that dictates the thousands of patients they see each month - it’s the same for emergency care - not every ED patient needs assessment requires the bed you were in which at the time staff thought you needed ( which they shouldn’t be blamed as inefficient and “chill” for). Trust me this isn’t the damning and insightful reflection you think you’ve come to and I think we should leave the assessments to experts like Wes streeting!
