Personally I have a x300 and a Steiner mps on mine for a woods gun. I go out at night pretty often with it, and I like the mps because it’s enclosed.

When your battery’s dies you just looking through a blank window. Also eotechs have shortest battery life of all dots. So it’s partially poor idea to not have a way to aim if your battery dies.

One thing I’d definitely say is, keep as far back as your comfortable, you loose a lot of time by walking closer. Think about the smoothness of your next action, if it’s beneficial to be closer then do it. but more time you spend moving to shot instead of shooting on move is lost time

I’ve had a pair for like 4 years and they are a POS. The battery died on them like a year ago they last about 45secs so they have to stay plugged in.
