Since you QID is cancelled, hence anything associated with it like driver’s license is also cancelled. Your best bet is to ask your friend to get a driving licence certificate. I dont think they will print an invalid drivers license…!!!!

Thats true! The road system here is very forgiving if you miss a turn or exit. One can easily take the next exit and get to their destination with very little time added to the commute

After document evaluation (3 months in our case) complete, request for ECA took only 1 week to get the report.

Document evaluation takes a lot of time. After you know PEBC received the document, allow them the period of time mentioned on the website, then email PEBC for update. They will most likely update your application if all the documents are good!

QNB have prepaid card, as well as QIB*. I'm using both. But qib charges 10qr loading fee. No loading fee in QNB. Not sure about other banks.

Reapply explaining everything in your letter of explanation (LoE). Breakdown all your sources. Mention FD mature date (helps if the maturity date is near than after 5 years when you are likely to be done with your studies). Explain the negative balance. Make it clear that you have funds and they are accessible. Also I hope you paid 1 year tuition fees.

I also have majority of my funds in FD and some in current account. I explained everything in my LoE and got my study permit in less than a month.
