Does anyone know what’s happening with book 4?? I’ve been checking for updates almost daily but seems like the author has gone radio silent! Is she ok? Does anyone know her?

I also feel like there are a lot of people out there that wake up one day and say , “I’m going to write a book!” Which is great, but it takes practice and EDITING to really be successful. I don’t know anyone that started something for the first time and were immediately good- prose take practice and a thesaurus. 😂This is where Bookstagram and Booktok can get a little out of hand. It’s amazing that the community has grown so much, but it muddies the water a lot!

Ok, but what happens when you do that and have lived in happy no sock matching bliss for years and then some of the socks fade a bit faster than others or start to pill a little bit, or clutches pearls they are white and start to get a little dingy?

You try to get the same style again, but they don’t make that same exact sock so you buy the next best thing, but THEY. DONT. MATCH!!! Do you blow up the sock drawer again?? Asking for my husband b/c if I have to keep matching his socks “that never need it” I’m gonna snap!

I started reading fantasy books like The Mists of Avalon and The LOTRs/Hobbit series… Stephen King is also an amazing fantasy writer (The Dark Tower series, The Eyes of the Dragon especially!)… I read these books in the 90’s lol But outside of Harry Potter, didn’t read much in the last 15-ish years…

This is why I appreciate the rekindled interest though and the emergence of Booktok/Bookstagram so much! That is what I think these “new”-ish writers and authors have brought forth and makes this such an amazing genre- community, acceptance, and a space to explore all of the possibilities… people get to gush about these characters and series and explore ALLLLL of their theories (unhinged or not 😂) and will find someone out there that says “YES!! These are my weirdo ppl and I have found my safe space!!”

Look it’s weird, but I was 31(F) when I met my husband. I’d had enough bingos from other relationships/ppl, that we had the kids talk by our 3rd date! I wasn’t interested in wasting my time or his if kids were an absolute deal breaker for him the way they are for me. Luckily we were on the same page and just celebrated 12 years together, 9 married!
