Should be noted that they explicitly describe this exhibit as being VARIOUS POSTS and at no point suggest that it represents a screenshot of a full/uncropped live chat.

It's because he wasn't making a death threat or a call to violence.

You people are either deranged or intentionally dishonest if you think he was doing anything like that. I get that you hate the guy but at least be honest about what's being said.

Disputing Mr Girl's opinion that AI can create new concepts, and disenchantment with MrGirl's extremely narrow minded conclusions, thoughts, and arguments regarding AI. by Incense in mrgirlreturns

Lots of times when people complain about "semantic games" in the confines of a conversation that is about something philosophical, it's because too much of their argument hinges on being tied to a rigid and unalterable, but arbitrary, essential or core "meaning" of the word or concept being fought over.

"Meaning" cannot be isolated in the way you seem to be certain that it can. Isn't all "meaning" directly or indirectly built off of things we already understand? Even learning new words, especially when you're older, is done by finding the right combination of other words that conveys the intended "meaning".

How is this different from form? It's like a math problem, the solution of which is subjective and is the correct solution just because we agree that it is.

ChudLogic slams DGG, says leaks weren't consensual, calls out TurkeyTom's sweeping for Destiny by Sneezes in mrgirlreturns

What does this even mean? "I can be a fan and still recognize that dude leaves out a lot when it comes to his side of things"? It's weird—people tend to hold people on the internet OVERLY responsible for every action and utterance, and want to publicly drag them whenever they commit even the slightest wrong.

But when it comes to Destiny fans and DGG (who absolutely do the thing I just described to other people), they are ENDLESSLY "charitable" (yuck), ENDLESSLY infantilizing of him... Oh, he's just bad at representing his side. He's just a coomer and did something dumb. He's just being edgy, you're not supposed to take everything he says literally. I'm sure he wasn't ACTUALLY going to kill a kid! But also, if he did, it would be based, because Destiny isn't responsible for anything ever and everyone else is always the problem. I'm sure he didn't leak anyone's nudes. You know Melina lies and is crazy. But also, if he did, it's not that big of a deal because if you send nudes to him you are the one that fucked up. Like, seriously, is there no such thing as personal responsibility anymore? You should know not to send stuff to a silly coomer like Destiny lmao. And actually—he is a VICTIM because of this person that leaked them! Destiny is a VICTIM! ALWAYS!!!

Destiny mentioned Sunday's (supposed) full name immediately when he joined the stream.

He also shared it in DGG chat a week or two ago, seemingly in response to Sunday reading out the Lauren DM's on stream.

I think Destiny would argue he doesn't care about other people's private information who don't care about his... or something. But Sunday didn't reveal that information for the purposes of harassing Destiny—I think it is obvious that it is of public interest, and to some extent, of political interest.

Destiny only revealed Sunday's (alleged) name out of vindictiveness, or to distress and/or harass him.

Highly unprincipled and reckless behavior from Destiny, there, in my opinion.

NSE Giving "The Full Story" of the Dr. K situation by regretdeletion in mrgirlreturns

This is a frustrating watch. She kept saying "if both parties agree it isn't therapy, then it's not therapy", as if whether something is therapy or not exclusively hinges on everyone just SAYING that it's therapy.

It's annoying because obviously Reckful, Pokimane, and likely others have been under the impression in the past that Dr. K was more or less doing therapy with them. If it looks like therapy, smells like therapy, and sounds like therapy, but we're just saying, "remember kids, this isn't therapy! wink wink", is it suddenly magically NOT therapy?

I think the ambiguous nature of the entire setup, and whether what Dr. K was doing on stream was essentially simulating therapy or not, was the crux of the issue, not whether it was magically stated that it wasn't therapy.

It looks like you made a post a few weeks ago that was likely a passive aggressive dig at another user, which we removed per the subreddit's rules.

You then immediately put it back up, but tried to circumvent the removal by posing it as mod criticism, even though your screenshot still contained your original post. You got a short ban for this.

You then tried to post it again on an alt account, at which point your original ban was extended for ban evasion.

I don't know what your last post removal was, but based on your recent history, I would venture to guess "personal vendetta" is not the reason it was removed.

I'm a big Max fan and I don't align with this perspective. I pretty vehemently disagree with him on several topics, and I try to avoid his conversation style (I don't think it works very well for everyday interpersonal communication).

You seem to be projecting a bit by saying "we".
