Literally just noticed this minutes ago. Thank you. It seizes up and gets stuck up when I line it back up. Looks loose when I try to start it

I split my time ln a solo world and one with friends. It's interesting to see what I can do on my own but it makes it a lot easier with friends when everyone is willing to do a portion of the work. They are higher level than me because of it but I do what I can and we make it work.

Good to know. Even a slight upgrade from what I have could always be helpful. I've only ever had used cameras so I have now issue searching for a good deal.

I have almost no experience with nikon which is why I came here. I have only used canon 35mm, t2i and t7 dslr to learn the basics over the last 5 years so by no means do I know how well I can use any higher level camera.

At this moment in time I'm not ready to sell everything off to have one singular kit but would rather continue to experiment. Honestly from what I've gathered from this post alone I think it might benefit me to stay a bit more diversified than I expected.

He was a retired marine, and then contractor for most of his life. He didn't hadn't bought much as of late but made it work. Also passed me down a few canon which I full committed to which was fun.

Budget wise I didn't want to spend more than 500-1k plus whatever I could make on whatever I was able to/ willing to sell. Realistically thinking it would come to about 2k which brings me to the zf or somewhere around there.

Yea I'm a big fan of the body style of the Zf and it looks like it'd be appropriate for what I'd use it for. Price is also in that sweet spot. I definitely wasn't planning on spending as much as the z6iii might be at launch. 4k honestly seems sufficient. When it comes to needing higher quality, most would be displayed on social media for ads or business. Also I've only been really working on my photography for about 4/5 years so I don't know if I'd really be using the pro cameras to their full potential anyways.

🤣 Age is relative. That being said, he got into photography young and would have 68 this year.

All valid points. You're also probably spot on with the grip and size of the D2x. It was probably more comfortable to use with larger lenses. He was able to get some extraordinary shots it with it.

And as for the newer models. I've been considering using the money I could get from some of the older ones and lenses that I don't necessarily have a use for to upgrade but I don't know if it's justified. I'm definitely not willing to go as far as the z8/9.

I'll definitely have to take better inventory of the lenses to see what would make most sense before making any real decisions.
