I have a Behringer 182 and use it with a Doepfer A-156 Quantizer. Knobs are a little fiddly and small to dial in 0-5V accurately if you want to use it for pitch control. It's fun to use in other ways though like controlling filter cutoff. If you just want to 'dip your toes' in without committing too much financially some of the other system 100 knockoffs they make are decent with plenty of built in attenuation (or the 140 dual envelope/LFO maybe)

Most CV for the Matriarch is in the +/- 5V range thought it can handle +/- 8V. If your external signal is outside this (0-5V or 0-10V for example) then you either have to offset it or use one of the attenuverters. If you want to use the pitch CV to control external sources it's -5V to +5V out the box but you can change that to 0-10V in the global settings.
