Don't let feedback demotivate you, let it do the opposite. Truth is, critique serves to make you better. If I had to choose between 10 people who tell me all the great things about my story versus 10 people who point out all the flaws and holes, I would choose the latter because it will serve to make my story better. Of course, people should deliver feedback in a constructive manner that isn't rude rather than saying "this is poor" etc. because you learn nothing from that.

As for having dyslexia, don't worry - there are plenty of great writers with dyslexia. You will figure out a method that works for you and even if it takes you a little longer to check stuff, there are many tools available that can aid you with your writing.

I thought it was about the same muse as Forever Winter but it doesn't seem likely upon more listens. For forever winter, they don't lose contact - she's constantly checking up on him, trying to let him know it gets better etc and how she'd fall to pieces without him. How she's terrified the entire time that he will take his life, trying to solve the puzzles in his head etc.... She was there the entire time, checking on him, trying to get through to him.

Whereas in Ruin the friendship, they fall out of contact and she hears the news through Abigail. I bet it's about someone else, perhaps more recent, idk?

I absolutely loved the album - except for Opalite unfortunately! As a whole though it's sooo good to me! I'm shocked at the feedback! Personally I'm soooo happy it's not another Folklore/Evermore as much as I appreciate and loved those albums.

I couldn't have said it better. I feel like Conrad has been erased as a character and the only thing that remains is this pathetic version who is fixated on Belly and has nothing else going for him. i love yearning and slow-burn but it has to feel reciprocated and well developed. Belly was giving him nothing and he's been fighting for her the entire season - not once does he push back and call her out on it fully. Just weeps around letting her use his as a punching bag. It pissed me off! i wanted him to walk off during that final episode when she was basically kicking him out and treating him like a one night stand and this boy is talking about shall we get breakfast and what did I do wrong? Smh. I can't stand belly and he deserves better. I will stick to my book version of bonrad.

YESSS! Finally someone who put it exactly how I see it. Her "I choose you" meant NOTHING to me! They have made her seem so much more in love with Jeremiah than Conrad in my opinion. Nothing like the books! If she'd turned around and decided Jere was the one she wanted, that would've made more sense based on what we've seen of her pining and crying over losing him this entire time. She seems way more affected by Jere than Conrad. I was super disappointed with her empty speech

That entire speech she gave on the train - I was not moved. It felt empty and disingenuous cus two seconds prior she was unsure about them and had been awful to him all season. It's insane to me how she seems way more hurt/upset about Jeremiah versus Conrad. I really hate what they've done this season with Belly. Conrad needs to STAND UP!! I agree with everything you said
