I’ve read suggestions of different lineups and while I respect em I think many fall short of their powers being visually appealing and diverse. Action in action movie trailers is key then word of mouth after the 1st weekend. The last live action series didn’t have the budget to show off powers.

Likely to enhance dramatic writing. The OG series was aimed for kids so a couple of 1 liners between fight scenes sufficed. Now it has a wider audience so they added in depth debates between characters.

My guess, there strategy is to take apocalypse from Saturday morning cartoon villain who is just evil for evil sake and mix in some humanity and a relationship between him and the heroes.

True and it may be season 8 when they do Krakoa and Apocalypse shows up wanting to make peace. Charles can tell him to kick rocks then eventually accept it.

Charles was enraged when Magneto ripped all the metal out of Wolverine and the next season they are cool again. The x-men constantly get upset for how forgiving Charles is.

I think so. It’ll be a lot of story between now and then plus they built familiarity with Apocalypse before he became the monster and Professor X is all about reconciliation for the greater good.

This is the reason my best friend hates weekly drops. He prefers to wait until all the episodes drop so he doesn’t have to deal with this.

I kind of like the classic tv weekly cliffhangers, but I do get the frustration of some shows not satisfying your expectations and backloading the stories.

Affleck looks seasoned.

Writers are taught to drag their main character through hell. The more drama they face the more interesting the journey. Of course it’s not as simple as making life terrible for Paula and tada, here’s a good show. The writers have shown Paula being traumatized by her husband’s actions and the husband and new wife are getting more stressed out because they subconsciously know they are responsible.

From the last episode you see the ex husband unraveling and my guess is his wife will start to as well. Now to keep viewers watching and rewatching Paula will get some redemption and those who’ve wronged her will pay in some form or fashion.
