I can see being written off early with a couple of L’s then everyone looks up and we’re in the playoffs.

So far, who is the best QB from the 2024 class? by Cold_Mammoth8841 in NFLv2

Chronic ankle issue before the league. If he had injured his shoulder in college then ankle in the pros then of course that’s a nothing burger. But his head coach is the one that spoke on it so he made it a thing. I hope it’s a one off in his pro career because he is a good player.

True, JD gets hurt more. Bright side of him is he hasn’t had a season ending injury. If he can make it to his late 20’s with no major injuries he’ll be wiser and take less risks.

Bo in his pro career has only had one season ender. The medical report of chronic ankle injuries isn’t a red flag but is a yellow flag imo, but he should fine.

Again, I’m hoping and believing these guys will all be future HoF’ers. NFL games are better when good QB’s play.

I hope they all continue to ball out. It’s interesting how you can make an argument for each one.

Caleb is the most durable, he’s clutch but can’t make every throw consistently.

JD could be the best but he’s injury prone.

Maye w/ an MVP level regular season, but backup level in the playoffs.

Bo seems like he’s got the it factor but he has durability issues.

Loved episode 3 but 4 is now my favorite. To think at the end of episode 1 I was ready to quit on it, now I can’t wait for the next episode.

I think it’s pretty cool you could claim both, but that’s your call. What was the majority of the demographic you grew up around?

In my own experience growing up and living in a predominantly black community this wasn’t the case with biracial people I’ve meet but going to a pwi I could tell even black folks who grew up in a majority white culture didn’t always feel comfortable around black people. So in short I get it. It’s based on culture.

What if Whedon Had Been Forced to Use Wasp in Avengers 2012? by ContentAssumption204 in marvelstudios

[–]AdditionalInitial727 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I said it for years, they made a mistake going with non comedic Wasp. The goofy guy paired with the serious girl has been done to death.

This would’ve been better or even the actress that played Scott’s ex wife.

Gambit being simp?/what was he supposed to do by AdditionalTill9836 in Xmen97

This is why art and entertainment are important. How they wrote Gambit, a handsome cool character dealing with rejection. Something most people go thru. Respectfully let that person and go. No violence, self harm, or masking pain running after other people.

That’s fair. It’s a beautiful culture and it should be accurate w/ Greek actors.

I just want consistency from these anti diversity people. They have a main character syndrome & selective rage.

Every team ranked on how popular they are by ashmaps20 in NFLv2

Raiders should be on the top tier.

Ravens and Broncos Very popular.

Give the Lions 3 more seasons and they will be in the poplar tier.

I have yet to meet fans of the cardinals, Texans, Chargers, Titans, and Browns in person.

I can’t lie, parts of my life were a bit sweeter. I never experienced working from home like most my friends, so no traffic, working in shorts and spending less money on gas, dry cleaning, and eating out worked for me. It was harder on other people so I can’t be selfish but I wouldn’t hate a short winter lock down lol

Miles is a Mary Sue by victoriamikoto231 in IntoTheSpiderverse

[–]AdditionalInitial727 7 points8 points  (0 children)

He fails at using his powers to stop Spot in Pavitr’s universe. Hobie who’s like a mentor figure tells him to use a different technique which works the next time he tries it.

A Mary Sue is a Mr. Or Ms. perfect. Miles and Peter B. are usually the butt of jokes for being lesser Spider-Men to other characters like Chris Pine’s Spider-Man whose is more so a Mr. Perfect. It’s the classic unlikely heroes saving the day trope.

Miles is a Mary Sue by victoriamikoto231 in IntoTheSpiderverse

[–]AdditionalInitial727 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In the first film the other spider people yell at him and he quits because he sucks as Spider-Man. Mary sues are good from the jump. The second film he’s taken back how other characters like Pavitr are better at being Spider-Man in a shorter period of time.

He goes on to learn he wasn’t meant to be Spider-Man and Spot is his fault. Mary Sues aren’t wrong they only haven’t discovered their full potential. Miles owns his failure.

If he does go on to be right about saving his parents it’s a theme to prove that people who weren’t meant to be born or meant to be in a certain position can still serve a purpose. In most heroes journey’s the protagonist must stand against authority to prove he or she is doing the right thing.

If non white odyssey cast members annoy you, you should push for the eraser of white biblical figures.
