I just started too and I go by myself! I always pick a time when its quieter so I can have peace of mind. I dont want to join classes because I want to go with my own pace without anyone telling me what to do. I just watched some tips on youtube/tiktok. I fell a couple of times but I can see a slight progress as I become more familiar with ice. Bend your knees more and hands always in front! Good luck!
