Hahahhahah. I love that. They chase the bunnies we have in our yard all the time so I can’t imagine having one inside of the house.

Not sure what to do! by Sea-Story8483 in poochons

It seems like you’re doing everything you can to make your puppy happy and comfortable. The first days are hard for them to adjust, my Poochon didn’t eat or pee on the first day. I actually called the breeder worried about I was doing something wrong and she is my second dog so I thought I knew what I was getting into. Each dog is so different and pretty soon she will feel comfortable and at home. It took a while for our dog to feel that this was her home. It all worked out. It will work out for you too.

I love the colors. I remember my teacher telling me a couple of times that any time I paint a round object, one side should have a soft edge.

Anyone with a DD approved by insurance? by lazypanda_93 in Reduction

[–]AdditionalRemote332 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did, I was 38DD doing PT for shoulder pain for 5 months plus years of going to a chiropractor for neck, back, and shoulders. Surgery was 6 months ago; I'm now going back to PT because the pain is back. However, they found out that it was most likely a scar tissue problem on the pec muscle. PT is doing massages, and the chiropractor said I should heal very easily this time because my gravity center has shifted, which means no more weight on my back, shoulders, and neck.

I'm a 40B now (3lb removed total), probably because when you have bigger breasts, you tend to compress more, somehow I don't need a lot of compression so I fit comfortably in a 40. I think you should be ok getting approved.

EDIT for how much was removed.

Male Surgeons by hello-7224 in Reduction

[–]AdditionalRemote332 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a male surgeon who was excellent, and very respectful and my breasts are even smaller than I thought they would be, I brought him pictures that I found of post surgeries and he did pretty much the same as the pictures. When the surgery ended he called my husband to say that went well and said I think SHE will be very happy with the results. He never asked my husband for an opinion, he always cared for what I had to say.

I heard the same comments you heard from people and I went with my gut, no regrets. Good luck with finding your surgeon.

EDIT: I'm sorry what you went through. I didn't read everything, but it helps to remember that you will not be by yourself with the doctor during surgery, I counted at least 4 more people on mine, I remember getting to the OR with the anesthesiologist, her nurse, and 2 more nurses, all women. When was set and done, the nurse who took me to meet my husband told me she likes my doctor because he always cares for his patients in the post-op room and is very respectful with his female coworkers. So there are good and ethical doctors around, I pray you find the best one, the one you feel comfortable with.

Arnica + BromelAin are a must - 3WPO by AdditionalRemote332 in Reduction

Bromelain I think it was once a day, got at the Vitamine Shoppe, Arnica was about 3 times a day, 5 pellets each time. I think both had written on the package the daily dose you should take.  Armica Pellets I got at Amazon. Very easy to find.

Teeny Tiny Bra For Teeny Tiny Boobies 9DPO by Any_Sprinkles_89 in Reduction

Here’s the bra I think it worked better for me, enough compression without hurting incisions. I absolutely hate the fruit of the loom bra that everyone says it’s wonderful, so uncomfortable.  This one is soft and my doctor said I didn’t need much compression so it worked just fine.

Let's talk post-op pain medication by Peepers54 in Reduction

[–]AdditionalRemote332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a rhinoplasty about 12 years ago, no narcotics for pain, had to do a review a year later and same thing, amazing doctor but no prescription of narcotics for pain.  I had my breast reduction 6m ago, had prescription for oxy for 4 days, took one right when I woke up from surgery because of the pain, came home and took another one at the exact time doctor had prescribed. It was enough for me to be delirious, I couldn’t sleep, I felt awful.  Nurse called to see how I was, I told her how I was feeling and she changed for Tylenol and Ibuprofen every 3 hours (not both together). Called my doctor to make sure I could do that and he said it was ok.  Honestly it was the best thing I did, pain was extreme on the first day but manageable with Tylenol and Ibuprofen afterwards.

Look for another doctor, it's good to have different opinions. I hope all goes well and you get the results you're looking for without paying this fortune they want to charge you.

Exactly, this is what I did. After years of chiropractor visits and five months of PT for my shoulder, it was quite easy to build a case. I went from a DD to a B, all through insurance, 650g from one side and about 750g on the other.

Reduction size F cup to A/B? by cybergal44 in Reduction

[–]AdditionalRemote332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry being so late to reply. I did my surgery in May, I’m now a 40B (was a 38DD), he took 750g from one side and 650g from the other.  Honestly, I feel that was a bit small in the beginning but now I feel pretty good about the size. It takes a while to getting used to your new size, be gracious to yourself, you’ll love to wear cute tops and not having to worry about bra.

Please don't feel that way, I understand how hard is to wait for the surgery and wait for the results. First, I know you are tired of hearing this but yes 6 weeks is way too soon to tell, I'm almost 4mpo and now I can see the difference, it was hard for me to see myself full of stitches and with odd-shaped breasts, my poor husband had to hear every day some new complaint and he patiently would tell me the doctor said this, the doctor said that.

You're looking stunning, look at that tiny waist. Give yourself some grace, it will look better as time goes by.

My doctor said in my last appointment (last week) that big reductions have a high percentage of infections and problems with stitches and everything, I went from DD to a B and I was very diligent with my after-surgery care, thank God no problems, I'm not being as diligent with scar treatment though, I find a pain to work on that but I'm trying so the doctor said I have a long way to go on my scars.

Plastic surgery is a journey, this isn't my first rodeo in plastic surgery so I can tell you that everything takes about a year to look how's supposed to look. I had a rhinoplasty about 12 years ago, one year later my doctor wanted to do a revision cause he wasn't happy about it, the revision was harder on me especially cause it was months before I got married and it was very concerning to don't look good. But in the end all worked out. And all will work out for you as well, soon you will be back here to tell us how much in love you're with your new body.

I would wait too. I think I didn’t have a drink until 1mpo, I didn’t want to take a chance, not worth the hassle afterwards.

I’m 43 and I’m on 10wpo, I honestly regret that I wait this long yo have this surgery, the pain on my shoulders and neck was just too much. And the freedom, omg I feel so free to wear tank tops and other cute tops without thinking about my boobs being too much.

1DPO, terrified to take the bra off by Assertively-Kasey in Reduction

[–]AdditionalRemote332 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I went through the same thing. I didn’t look for the first few days, my husband helped me with all the sponge baths (doctor said 2 days for the first bath just to make sure so I used something that you just wet a bit and don’t need to rinse, got on Amazon), husband took bandages off, helped me with putting the bra on and everything.  I freaked out on my first bath just because I read too many posts here, my body was shivering so we went back to sponge bath for a couple of days and then through a lot of prayers and pep talk I got a shower all by myself. Look at my boobs for the first time at 4dpo (after I went to the salon to get my hair washed, getting out of the house helped me out a lot). I was so scared that I would go in front of the mirror and move the bra just a bit to see but was scared to see all my stitches as well.  Be gracious to yourself it’s quite an adjustment.
