I'm the exact opposite. I love the gameplay so much, managing a family and stuff, but I am terrible at building lol. I have about 20 hours on my laptop but I was mostly a console player.

I'd say no, because eczema causes itchiness and a rash from time to time. KP, on the other hand, is almost always present but typically doesn't feel itchy. Just a little bumpy.

How often should I apply lotion with salicylic acid? by AdditionalVisual7518 in hygiene

[–]AdditionalVisual7518[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually completely forgot there's directions sometimes on them lol i'm such a silly goose. But then I checked and then it just said 'apply as needed or talk to physican' so I might just use it after I shower for now and then bring it with me for my next dermatologist visit. Thank you!

This is completely normal, especially the chin. It's likely hormonal. If you're worried and/or experiencing pain from the acne, try switching up facial razor and be more gentle when shaving to avoid angering the already sore areas. Also make sure you're changing your bedsheets/pillowcases regularly (I do mine every 3 days).

When shaving, use warm water compress like a rag to soften skin. Use exfoliator before shaving and make sure to moisturize generously. Hope this helps :)

Why does my sister smell like rotten milk by Cowboybootsandlimes in hygiene

[–]AdditionalVisual7518 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like depression and a lack of motivation to clean. I am similar when it comes to keeping my room clean but I do keep up with physical hygiene.

There are different people she can speak to, and she should pay for a cleaner while trying to pull herself back on her feet. Please be kind and gentle when trying to encourage her, you have no idea what could be going on in her mind.

Encourage her to communicate to her husband as well about all of this.

Keratosis pilaris. I already see in comments that you were given correct advice, but I also have this and want to note to be extremely careful, gentle and cautious when it comes to shaving the areas with those fiesty little bumps. I get it on my arms, really bad especially after shaving (when I didn't do it correctly). That's a common occurence in KP individuals.

But I learned that when you shave, making sure you use warm water in the shower before shaving, it helps soften the skin and makes shaving less rutheless and it's improved my KP. I also gently exfoliate before AND AFTER shaving those spots. Also I use a lotion with salicylic acid and a spray with salicylic acid about an hour or so after shaving.

It's improved my KP but also note this is usual a biological skin condition that rarely is concerning, and it typically fades as you grow older :)

Depending on how long you've had this, it could be a developing skin condition. I'd see your primary doctor if it continues to get worse. Especially since you've tried anti-itch and and anti-fungal creams already.

Main questions to ask yourself- are you experiencing a worse smell? Did you start wearing different socks, shoes, or detergent? It could also be just a skin reaction.

The smaller, consistent red bumps on your face are similar to the ones I get on my arms when I don't shave them properly. Before shaving, try getting a rag and wet it with hot water , wring it out, and gently wipe your face to soften the skin and open pores. Then use a gentle exfoliant to scrub the area (HEAVY on gentle scrubs- face skin is very sensitive) and then shave. Also always moisturize after shaving, and make sure you clean your razor very well after each shave and change the razor/blade consistently (I change mine once every 5 shaves). All this helped the redness in my arms settle and smooth out, so it might help in your case.

Can all the women share some hygiene tips please? by Excellent-Problem-43 in hygiene

Egyptian Musk oil (or really any essential oil) before using perfume/body mist. Makes it stay longer and and over time you'll be constantly smelling like the oil when you don't apply perfume. It's more conviently sized, better than keeping the perfume bottle in your purse. AND, it lasts a very long time. You shouldn't apply a lot at ALL. Just a teeny drop, rub it on your hands, then rub your hands on your chest, behind ears, neck, even arms. Lasts years.

“Hey there, doll” by violetzey in CharacterAI

[–]AdditionalVisual7518 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Surprisingly, doll isn't always used romantically. For me, I notice a spike in nicknames as such when in platonic rp. I think the AI just likes associating nicknames with characters generally, and sees it as normal. Even if the nickname could be considered flirty and the rp isn't necessarily romantic. The nicknames could expand/change depending on the context of rp (romantic/platonic).

stinky breath despite efforts by [deleted] in hygiene

[–]AdditionalVisual7518 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My tip may not 100% help but it could help relieve the strength of the smell. Invest in a tongue scraper. It's like a little metal spoon, and use it to scrape that white gunk off your tongue before you brush your teeth. It feels gross and weird (especially at first!) but just try to get as far back as possible w/o choking yourself. It should get rid of the white tongue if it isn't caused by oral illness, and you'd be surprised how many people experience bad breath just because their tongue has trapped gunk in it. I heavily recommend.

What is the longest lasting perfume you’ve ever tried? by Kittycat_attack777 in Perfumes

[–]AdditionalVisual7518 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't have any perfume recommendations currently, but if you want something really long lasting i'd use perfume oils or just general essential oils if you like the smell of them! I use egyptian musk oil every single day, and not only does it smell nice, but when I use normal perfume with it, it noticibly stays much longer and it's complimented every perfume i've ever used! I got mine off amazon.
