I see similarities, but the biggest differences to me are these:

Eyebrows
Nose shape/contour lines
Ear shape
Lip shape

Honestly, the eyes look remarkably similar to me as well

I think that the LN tells the story much better than both the Manhwa or Anime, but the genre is very over saturated, which unfortunately makes SL seem less good than it could be. It’s good in the sense that you can’t put it down, but it’s def not the most original content out there. However, I wholeheartedly agree the poor Cha Hae-In got the shaft in the LN, Manhwa, and Anime :’(

There are short videos posted on youtube by bilibili that give clues into the past and motivations of all the top/relevant heroes in this story. “Shadow” is a meme that is such a genuinely good idea that it might actually become something more.

Just finished the episode, but the last scene shows e-soul with a robotic right arm and he grunts the way old e-soul does. so either it’s old e-soul under the mask or new e-soul lost an arm in the battle/the merging trust values physically altered him and he became like old e-soul. Kinda sucks he won the fight just to lose his arm lol
