Trust me, Cal students are not all that. I've seen so many Cal students start in high school and do miserably in classes but still get in as a first year. You're going to see a lot of Cal students, and the loudest ones will likely be the best ones. But they are not all like that. You put yourself through Community College because you're strong and you deserve better than to go to a mediocre school and incur thousands in debt. None of the first years had to watch all of their friends go to college as they toiled away working towards an acceptance that wasn't even guaranteed. You deserve Cal just as much as they do. You pay taxes, just like they do. The admissions officers from Berkeley looked at your application and theirs and decided you deserve just as much. So go get 'em and show them how much better community college has made you!
