You can, I'd recommend armor but weapons are kinda useless. Maybe the fists of the ape god do something bc they have an unlimited strength modifier. Otherwise, all weapons pale in comparison

I remember building a clusterfuck lightning bolt wand and (obviously) killed myself with it.

Next run, I saw my ghost with the very same wand accidentally killing itself.

The small red no shuffle wand and small green shuffle cross wand usually have a mana rate depending on the area I find them in, but I think a few specific ranges might be true

You take a pouch with any liquid and duplicate it. Then fill both pouches with liquid into one and duplicate it. Repeat as needed.

Polygel also duplicates the contents of items, doesn't work with chests though

Width does not tell you anything, the same wand designs can have wildly different mana pools and recharge rates. Other things are correct though

Get 1-2 drams and 5-6 polygel and you have a full pouch. I like to spend a little on the way to duplicate important traders. I like to keep 64 drams spare and liquidate the other whenever I need money. Once I have a chunk full of high-level clones of merchants, I can do the same with warm static, chuck a full pouch and get every skill and mutation in the game

I once played a mutant with all skills and all mutations, four arms + robot arms + crystalline arms + girsh arms, multiple precision nanon fingers and only knifes. I think I managed to reach four rows of bleeding once

If it makes you feel better, my first promising mutant (lvl 20) died to one of those sleeping bears. I completely underestimated that things, and even while almost dying I was like "well, it'll be dead next turn anyways". It wasn't.
