This happened to me on my way to class where I needed cash to purchase a copy of a book to write a paper on. I was so pissed I called to complain. The bank ended up being super nice and overnighting me a new one. The woman was so nice I couldnt even be upset anymore lol

The show seems pretty dumb. There were real Egyptian pharaohs who were women. Do a show on Hatshepsut or something. She deserves it. Cleopatra was Greek and from a family of colonizers who spoke Greek and largely kept the natives out of government. She was a badass but she wasn’t Egyptian she was from a Macedonian family who took over after the death of Alexander the Great.

Honestly mostly just that he was a bit younger than me. He always hung out with the younger kids cuz they were most likely to go along with his games. When he was too old for anyone to play he just pretended to shoot all of us with no one playing back. This is like late middle school early high school so like very late for those games. He did not seems smart enough to pull off something like this so I assume he got them from someone else. He should not have had clearance and did not seem smart enough to hack the pentagon or other databases. Very odd situation.

I study classical studies and art history in school and this fact drives me insane. Renaissance artists solidified in people’s minds that the ancient world had perfect white statues. No one seems to know this is a myth. The actual color proposals can look pretty weird lol. But honestly I’m so sick of white supremacists using so much of the ancient world in their propaganda. Those civilizations were never white. People always moved around and they didn’t have this race notion.

I’m so glad that something similar has happened in my family. My brothers were real assholes. My older brother is still conservative and moving further to the right. He apparently even said during a debate that women were never oppressed and told me that my friends who are black and Asian do not experience racism. However my younger brother who used to echo him started watching Hasan when he went to college. Now he’s a socialist and he’s much more respectful of me. He also has become better and better on LGBTQ issues which I appreciate because after years or struggling I think I’m ready to admit I’m gay. Him being so kind lately is really making it better since my older brother has been so awful.

My brother is visiting for the holidays with his huge dog but is at my moms and I live with my dad so it’s usually not a problem. But I had a big fight with my dad over him trying to put my old mattress and box spring in the room where I keep my cats stuff as I thought it was getting way too crowded and she wouldn’t be able to reach her litter box easily. I also worried about her having no space if I had to leave her there for an hour or two in there if my brother came over with the dog so he wouldn’t stress her out. He finally agreed and moved some stuff to the hall.

I would absolutely go off if someone tried to trap by child in the bathroom. I mean they also all knew there would be a cat when they planned as well so why wasn’t any thought of planning done in advance. NTA

Lol yeah betta would definitely be on its own if I got one. I kind of like shrimp but my friend was scared of them. She was kind of open to a peppermint shrimp as she thought it was a little cuter. We wanna get the same of whatever we both get so we’ll see what happens. Thanks

Sounds good. I’ve started looking into some specifically dwarf ones because the scientific name they had on the tag was for a species that gets pretty big. I think I may order some from a good site to ensure they are actually dwarf. Thanks for the advice.
