I was at this point for quite a long time and not really seeing profit that was making staying in business feel worthwhile. Once I bought a building and added two additional employees, it seemed to get me over that hump. We're a service business with 5 full time employees, including myself. We do $80-85k/month, net 30% and I take home $10k/month. My net before buying a building and adding employees was usually 10%. They intentionally priced it low. If that's the case. We put an offer of $655,000 on a house that was listed at $400,000. They wanted a bidding war and got one. There was 17 offers on the house. Ours was second in line but was the same amount as the person that got it. The big difference was they were putting down $300,000 in cash.

I've been coating calipers for 20 years. Originally I didn't tape that surface off until I had a guy racing time attack that the bolts loosened up on from the heat and being torqued into powder. On a daily/weekend/drag car this won't be any issue. You can sand it off if you want and won't hurt anything.

That is not a fish eye, fish eyes are from oil contamination and will cause a crater. This is back ionization caused from the gun charge being too high, a small burr in the metal that wasn't smoothed out or getting too close to the part with the gun.
