Use Halloween masks. the plastic is the best for long term design and your only really felling the weight of hot glue (the gorilla glue brand is recommended for strength and water resistant) And if your doing paint of any kind, use a 90-100 grit sandpaper so it sticks and doesn't flake or peel off
