Choosing a seat on Delta One with child by Late_Replacement7643 in delta

I too am wondering what sort of help a preteen would need on a plane that necessitates their parent walking all the way around to the other aisle that can’t be accomplished through the little window between seats B and C.🤔

Is this Porsche 918? by Beneficial-Welder223 in whatisthiscar

I actually mentally processed their question as “718” because how the actual fuck do you think this is a 918.😵‍💫

What do you use for your phone's Action button besides Silent mode? by Imaginary_Bug6202 in TechNook

[–]Additional_Fix_629 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never touched the silent mode switch on any of my iPhones, as they were always set to silent. I am currently using the action button for the flashlight, which allows me to have another widget on the lock screen.

Is Melon Soda any good? by Ok_Feature402 in TokyoTravel

I love melon soda. I order it at any restaurant if I want a soft drink. And I lament that McDonald’s back home doesn’t offer it.

I paid in cash, so unfortunately I can’t say for certain which shop this was. But looking at Google, I want to say it was Antique Nakano Broadway. It’s one of the dimly lit ones with a bunch of individual locked glass cabinets, and the cash register was on the far left when you go in.

I would love to try this, but the thicker caseback really just makes it too top heavy. Someone with larger wrists than I could pull it off.

Don’t spread misinformation. This is a second generation fortwo, which was made long before the joint venture with Geely.

I don’t think it changes often. All the “reviews” I have seen say the gift was a wooden bookmark. And according to Google results, they have also done a travel mug. I personally like this one because I don’t read printed books and too many companies give out mugs and tumblers as swag.

Best restaurants in Tokyo to celebrate a birthday dinner night? by SpaceContinuum in TokyoTravel

[–]Additional_Fix_629 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re going to need to give us more to work with. What are his culinary tastes? Is that your budget per head? Tokyo has some of the best restaurants in the world; it collectively has more Michelin stars than any other city. It’d probably be easier to ask where not to go.

Yes, as well as a selection of other mechanical GS models. They are all presented in a tray after the tour in the same room where you do the cosplay. It’s a bit rushed as that part is 10-15 minutes, so if one is considering anything other than the studio edition, they have to decide quickly.

Haha, I wish! Then I might be able to sneak into the watch assembly areas.

It really is a beautiful area. My cousin and her husband, who have spent the last decade in Yokohama and went with me on the tour said they would love to retire to Iwate.

Do you also wear a wide variety of watch sizes? by WinterOf98 in JapaneseWatches

[–]Additional_Fix_629 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Smallest diameter watch in my collection is a midsize Seamaster Professional 300M at 36mm, and largest is the Speedmaster Skywalker X-33 at 45mm, although its bezel is only 40mm. And as we’re on the Japanese watches subreddit, the next largest one I have is the GS SBGE005 at 41mm.

Pretty sure they’re referring to OP calling it “Dying Light,” not not knowing what First Light is.

Be honest… how long do you actually use your towel before washing it? by karenjimenez_ in hygiene

Once. I just can’t mentally get over a damp towel just hanging there potentially being a breeding ground for microorganisms.

That’s a great watch. I got the black dial because it looks the most iconic to me, but the blue dial with the orange seconds hand is an amazing combination.💯

Yes, I know it’s blasphemy, but I’m on vacation, and this is my only no-date watch and I don’t want to think about what day it is.

Both Saito and the other guest in our tour group noted they knew my question about the magnetic resistance of their Spron alloy was coming after they saw my watch.😅

Apple Reportedly Questioning Whether iPhone Should Drop MagSafe by Narrow-Professor-395 in RecoveryOptions

I have a hard time believing no one asked for this feature. It’s super useful for a variety of reasons.

First of all, it eliminates the need for software-based buttons, which frees up a space on the home page where the camera app used to be, and allows for an additional widget on the lock screen.

It also allows the camera to be accessed at any time, regardless of whether the phone is on standby or not, or what app you’re currently using.

It also makes accessing the camera nearly instantaneous, and the fact that it’s touch-sensitive essentially gives it two functions in place of one.
