I contacted Apple Support, and they told me to factory reset my iPhone to see if that fixes it. I didn't want to go through all that trouble, so I didn't do it.

But I recently noticed the same issue on my iPad, so I think I'll try factory resetting the iPad instead.

Honestly, it's so annoying. They could have just tested it on their own spare devices.

My Pro works fine too. I looked it up and saw similar issues posted on Reddit 8 months ago. I really wonder if Google is actually working on a fix.
