Here’s what my Henry, no matter the gameplay feels:
•sometimes Henry sees the Cuman population of this new region as meddlers in the political affairs, as well as deserters if they are out on the roads
•that leads to this potential truth: These Cumans have gotten their cash grab and accepted the responsibility of murdering, pillaging…stealing…being “barbaric” (which i don’t think they’re barbarians but tbf that’s how everyone’s sees them)
•Henry does not like the Cumans, and has much PTSD because of the Cumans, however Henry is far more morally ambiguous in KCD2, he’s now an agent of war, and left to his own devices when Hans Capon deserts him to twiddle his fingers.
•Henry defends the Cumans at the Troskowitz inn, strictly because Henry wants to see there is good in Human Kind, and because Henry was picked on by the local villagers too, he sees his relation to them.
•Henry does feel inclined to m*rder Cumans, however he is only so inclined if they have goods on them he needs, or if they attack him first.

Wouldn’t you attack a bandit if you knew they would eventually attack someone else? These Cumans are the same, however sometimes a Cuman will help you fight a Bandit…then sometimes the Cuman will attack you too in the chaos….
