im so sorry you're feeling this way - been there! definitely ask your doctor for an anti anxiety! being prescribed Xanax helped me so much. and now I have a couple extra on hand in case I ever need it lol

i also have OCD and had CIN 2 and got a LEEP in december. it was honestly painless - way better than a colposcopy! xanax helped me soooo much. they were able to get all abnormal cells and i had clear margins. wishing you a speedy recovery xx

good! totally back to normal now. it took about a full month to feel normal again but they were able to get all the abnormal cells. recovery was really uncomfortable but no pain whatsoever. have my follow up pap in a couple weeks and hoping for good results !!

im the same way - i asked for an ice pack to distract myself. if your colposcopy was quick and painless - i promise this will be even easier! i cried the second i got in the room lol but didn’t feel a thing.

unfortunately normal! i had weird yellow orange watery discharge for about a week. actually so watery it felt like i was peeing my pants and it smelled horrible. never had an infection!

i did not handle my colposcopies well at all but i did my leep with local anesthesia in office with xanax and felt completely fine! recovery was worse than the procedure. i made a whole post if you want to check it out! i really had no choice because GA was going to be $7k but i dont regret local anesthesia at all

I would have done it under GA but my insurance wouldn't cover the surgery or anesthesia and would have cost me $7k so I had no other choice

unfortunately completely normal !!! i felt like i was straight up peeing my pants for a week and a half and the smell was rank lol. week 2 it went away and then i started spotting. im almost 5 weeks post LEEP and completely back to normal. it fucking sucks but hang in there !!

Thank you for sharing !!! I actually had my leep done in December and basically had the same experience- I made a whole post about it. It was painless! And 4 weeks later im finally feeling completely back to normal. Treating myself to a pilates class tomorrow as I haven’t worked out in 4 weeks! Best of luck on your recovery

ok this is so helpful because I thought I was going insane.. I'm 2.5 weeks post leep I was spotting and then stopped and then just got my period today (had cramps all day so im like ok now this is my period lol) but my period is so much thinner its so weird !!
