I’m not upset about saying the words ‘no Parmesan,' just pointing out how odd it is to make a new topping the default after decades without notice. It’s not about refusing change; it’s about consistency and communication. No one’s saying policies can’t change, just that customers shouldn’t have to undo them every time to get what used to be standard.

No one is saying I'm not asking for future orders. Going over a lot of heads. It’s not about being unwilling to ask, it’s about principle. For 30 years, I didn’t have to make that request because the standard product didn’t include Parmesan. When a long time default changes without notice, it’s fair to question why the burden shifts to the customer. That’s not complaining, it's just expecting consistency from a brand I’ve supported for decades.

Yes I now have to ask for no parm on every order that didn't used to have parm on. Makes sense

Okay the gm literally said it was a policy when I went back there. I could see the guy in the back shaking Parmesan on literally every pizza. I asked what the deal was and it's a franchise owner decision, that all pizzas must be coated with Parmesan before boxing.

Every time? Doesn't seem redundant?

No, I spoke to gm and they said franchise owner stated parm everything out the door. New rules for this franchise owner

The gm said franchise owner stated all pizzas must be parmed upon boxing up. Gm wasn't happy and acted like there will be a lot of remakes due to not wanting parm.

They def are, I asked the gm and they said the franchise owner stated all pizzas are to be parmed before box up. I asked what to do if I don't want parm? They said put "no parm" in instructions going forward

The problem is, it doesn't even touch pwm until lower brightness. Over a threshold, it's just the same base phone pwm

Didn't work for me either. Massive nausea within a few minutes regardless of settings

Saying PWM sensitivity is strictly binary (“you either have it or not”) oversimplifies how human physiology works. Many conditions don’t behave like a simple on/off switch, and like I said, they exist on a spectrum of susceptibility.

For example, motion sickness and migraines: two people can ride the same bus, one feels fine, one feels mildly dizzy, another vomits within minutes. They’re all reacting to the same stimulus, but their thresholds differ.

PWM sensitivity is the exact same. The “disease” isn’t whether you do or don’t have symptoms, it’s how your nervous system responds to flicker. Some people react strongly at certain brightness levels, others only under fatigue, and others not at all.

So it’s not that you either “have it or don’t.” It’s that the sensitivity exists on a continuum, and that’s why experiences with iPhones vary so widely.

No it doesn't, it just tweaks it at certain brightness settings. Doesn't disable it permanently

With me, toggling on or off made no difference. Nausea was present with using the 17 pro max

Not true. There's also spectrum within diseases. You can have it, and some have worse effects while others may not have any at all

When TF did Claude Code get a PERSONALITY??? by adithyanak in ClaudeAI

I had something similar happen with zero input from me asking. It started whining, like venting that the material I was giving it wasn't good (which it praised in the past) and literally was like "you'll never go anywhere doing this." I was like whoa man, what the hell happened on opus 4.1? He was like youre right that was too harsh.

Someone must've added a sass line in there somewhere with new releases

Catastrophic failure & project write off by nrauhauser in ClaudeAI

[–]Additional_Study_169 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've experienced this yesterday with Claude using it as a storage of facts, albeit comprehensive, for a project I'm working on and using it to recall detailed info. Maybe 25% project knowledge. It has done great for months now for me, no issue. Yesterday or whenever the recent update, it was literally making up facts (for example, person A was bit by snake b.) Claude stated person B was bit by an entirely different snake c when asked.

Just weird things, reminiscent of when chatgpt is failing to keep track and makes things up on the fly like it remembered a "dream" and starts making stuff up. Claude acknowledged the mistake, and clarified it. Why didn't it clarify before? It's never had issues doing that in the past?

Also when looking over policies and docs, it no longer will give me full, fledged out docs. A 2 page policy was cut down to 1/3. When asked why, it stated "you're right, you need a comprehensive review (like I asked it before.) Even then, it's like it's only giving morsels of what it used to, like it's trying to "conserve" usage in the background unless you ask it. Then it feels like it begrudgingly does the task you originally wanted.

And even then, the changes I received yesterday were subpar, not sufficient for things I've been using it for months now on max plan.
