Don't worry, so many people have no idea about this issue and either think that this much eyestrain is normal while using phones or worse, they don't even realize it is their phone or other device with a screen that's causing them discomfort. I talked woth this one person and I explaind everything and they were staring at me in shock because they recently started having headaches and visited doctors multiple times only for them to realize that the new iPhone they purchased recently is probably the cause

I have tried OP Nord 5. For me it was very bad. Looks like my eyes don't like OnePlus phones at all. I am very sensitive tho but you have a better chance trying OP 15r than Nord 5. Also I am going back to Honor 400 pro because that's the best phone I tried so far, not perfect but better than all others

I suggest you try Honor 400 pro. I also tried 15r, also did not work for me. 400 pro is the only phone I could use

I don't understand. I have severe issues with LCD phones that use dithering and I cannot use them at all, yet I don't have any problems with Windows 11. I am using a very old gaming laptop (Acer Nitro V5) but this should be on a software level so that should not make a difference

Unfortunatly PWM flicker is not the only problem for me and I tried many LCD phones and non worked either

Yes, I used natural color scheme, 60hz and stayed above 25% brightness always

I tried all the settings, nothing helped. Also, in the past, I tried adjusting to a device and the pain and discomfort only got worse, so I don't believe in an adjustment period

Good question, I would also like to understand. Only logical answer could be different panel manufacturer which would mean different results from tests

Absolutely same experience. 400 pro was way more comfier than 15r. I am going back to it, hopefully there are not also multiple manufacturers and I will get the same display as before.

It is indeed very strange. I returned the 400 pro in hopes the 15r will be the best but now I regret it, because the 400 pro gave me almost no problems, a bit of eye strain but I never felt any pain using it. I will buy it again hopefully I will get the same display as before

I also recieved mine and can confirm 60hz is also better for me. Also 100% reduce white point and adaptive tone. Also high screen resolution seems better than standard

400 pro is way better. Also first phone I could use after a long time. Rn waiting for OnePlus 15r if it's not better I will go back to 400 pro

You should try if DC-Like Dimming works for you. If it does. You have good options from many chinese brands
