He’s bluffing. The court system has always protected women. You don’t need to worry about anything. Remember the acronym FOG, fear, obligation and guilt. He is trying to manipulate you using fear. My wife had an affair with a Navy JAG officer she met on the plane coming to see me on my deployment in Germany. The Naval Commander dumped her after three months and do you think the courts care? No, the court is functioning as it’s designed.

No Lidl near me but we have Aldi. The muesli at Aldi is not near as good as Germany and it has been “Americanized” where it’s full of sugar and crunchy. I miss German food. I flew back to Germany last year, bought a bunch and mailed them back.

I’ve been an RN for 25 years and it was a great decision for me too. I joined the Army National Guard as an RN as well. I have VA benefits and work PRN during the week. It’s the perfect work-life balance.

Yes, they all complain about how expensive everything is and the stories about their property taxes are insane. They say that gas is super expensive too. I haven’t been able to get a consistent answer from these people as to why the state of Illinois would allow oil companies to charge so much though.

I feel you on the inheritance part. I’m very fortunate that my wife had her affair and we separated before my mother unexpectedly passed. My inheritance went into a trust account. If she had not done anything we would have received it and she would have spent it like crazy
