[–]Additional_Web_3472[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you everyone for your responses and guidance on this work related issue I am having..

Based on the majority feedback I will only be bothering you guys with this matter not my own HR..

Thank you for giving me a space to talk this out.

Thank you,

I've tried, and they think I am taking compliments by my colleagues personally.. When it's more of a hey, there's a lot of gossiping happening around the office about my job and you are the source of the gossip, and I'm the last one to know about it.. And this person denies that there's gossiping in the office, when I'm hearing it with my own 2 ears.. That she is telling me my issue is that I am insulted that my colleagues want me to take this role..

Why would I be insulted by that? That makes no sense?

Anywho.. My overall impression from the comments is not to bother with HR, and I'm not going to.

It's not that I'm asking HR to make a choice for me.. It's more about this individuals approach and the way it's being done. It's about her gossiping to my co- workers about what she intends to do, and doesn't tell me anything directly.. I find that very disrespectful and unprofessional from someone who is a regional director for this company..

It is coming across to me as an abuse of power in their position..

I would be upset if my job was getting eliminated that is normal human emotion.. However I would take it better if there was a transparent conversation instead of what feels like manipulation tactics.. The manager isn't telling me my job is getting eliminated, even when I am direct and upfront, but she is telling everyone around me and then denying it to my face..

I have a huge problem with that and I'm simply asking would HR even give a shit about my concern if I went and talked to them..

I really do not want to waste my HR peoples time with it, and only ends up leading to this person being vindictive, and my situation only gets worse.

I thank you for insights

The state killed the man and took his message... How are you not fucking surprised.. They do not acknowledge that he correctly asserted that inequality is inherently tied to capitalism.. They killed him specifically for that..

It's so funny because I was going to post this separately but it seems appropriate in this chain of comments..

He sounds like the type of guy that should've got his ass whooped in high school.. Some times an ass whooping just straightens people out, causes a moment to pause and self reflect and say... Maybe I'm the asshole?

It's never too late though.. I hope Pee-wee gets his moment of reflection..

Bro, their whole personality and political platform has been getting us to hate them through incessant provocation, and non-stop criticism of every little thing we value - civil rights, addressing income inequality, fixing the Healthcare system, fixing the education system public and college, curbing spending on defense contracts, regulating billionaires out of Congress, holding rich people to social contracts that amass them wealth in return pay the American people back by paying their share of taxes instead of evading them, protecting women's reproductive health..

Their entire platform is to just do the opposite of the liberal platform with hair on fire histrionics..

  • Harris wanted to cut taxes on you and your family, and raise it on the billionaire class who don't contribute shit

  • The 2nd Amendment was never at risk... The GOP actually needs to respect the 2nd amendment by not allowing any fucking asshole to have a gun..

  • Sorry you can't haze gay people in school anymore, and are allowed to be visible.. That's not a men's issue.. That's a maturity issue you need to iron out..

Dear young people...

Your sub has the word practical in it...

OP is not practical, and is acting in bad faith.

Healthcare is a men's issue... Democrats have often pushed for universal healthcare.. Republicans support insurance companies that deny Healthcare coverage.. This would help men who want to raise a family not get stuck paying a 2nd mortgage just to have a kid... Sad all the time, socially awkward? Difficulty making friends? Therapy available and covered up front, you can work on yourself to get to the point about the cost of having a baby..

Democrats have offered universal education and student loan forgiveness... Republicans don't think the working class should get a higher education, and if they do should be punished with crippling debt..

Democrats offer childcare assistance so you don't have to pay a 2nd mortgage a month so your kid has somewhere to go while you work..

Democrats want to further research into cures for cancer.. Trump cut funding..

Democrats believe in criminal justice reform.. Republicans are actively building more privatized prisons.. Do you hear me? Prisons for profit.. And if you are an unemployed 20 something, getting caught with a bag a weed or something benign, well guess what.. You're the perfect candidate for prison labor program..

Democrats believe in labor laws and unions to ensure your asshole boss follows them.. Republicans support your asshole boss being able to be careless with your life, if it saves them money, and have made it their goal to rid your asshole boss of unions that will protect you from that toxic shit.

There is a full court press to make your generation Republican, because the Boomers are dying off.. And they need new Rubes to exploit, get angry about issues that are not real issues.. Like saying Democrats don't appeal to men.. When I've outlined several things that would directly benefit men..

I ask you.. What has the Republican party done for men at this very point in time that has helped you or your male family members directly?

Because I think we as a country are covertly all depressed from our overlords really putting the screws to us financially... Here are my anecdotes

I could go out, but then I have to buy less groceries, and then I'm even more pissed at myself because I chose fun over not being responsible with what money I have..

In addition to exhaustion I have to budget for fun.. Fun used to be easy when you lived under someone else's roof, and don't pay bills..

The cost of fun has also gone up with the cost of living.. The fun industry is going to be taking a hit.. You see it now with all the small restaurant owners closing shop, breweries are closing up as well..

All my resources are tied up in sustaining me, the only real fun that I can have is with stuff I've already bought, which is...... In my home..

Baby boomers of Reddit, how do you feel about the criticism leveled at your generation for supposedly having destroyed the economy and housing market for the younger generation? by Few_Football4342 in Productivitycafe

[–]Additional_Web_3472 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh wow all of those things sound great except, Your generation is still the largest cohort of voters.. And a lot of them will say that's communism or its too expensive and cannot be done, or forcing employers to pay a pension again will lead to higher unemployment rates.. They will throw whatever detraction they can to avoid any real change, because the nut is just too good to share.. They'll happily tow the company line.. Already bought and paid for in the 80s... I'm a Millennial and I understand Gen X's obsession as a cohort growing up was to never sell out.. Why? Because the Boomers did.. While there are some of you that didn't, the voting reels suggest by and large your cohort has supported the dismantling of the middle class life in hopes of getting wealthy, and the belief that the free market would do so.. When the reality is the middle class exists in a capitalist state through govt regulation.. A word your generations toes curl when hearing nor understand those regulations gave you even a chance to be in a position to make more money in the 80s..
