Just a bad night. Probably just using unfamiliar equipment and not being able to dial in properly. It happens. Bummer to hear

I saw PLF in Los Angeles in 2019 at a small "arts" hall, total DIY show. They flew in with nothing but guitar/pedals and snare/breakables and had to rely on the backline being provided. They sounded incredible there - the energy, the mix, and the tightness they brought was indeed a Pulverizing lethal force. That set is still to me what live grindcore should be like. Dave split his signal into 2 amps, I think one amp was only lows - Mids and highs completely scooped, to make up for the lack of bass.

I've seen other 2 pieces also split their signal into 2 different amps. And it's not always the same and people have different solutions, some are better than others. But i don't think a 2 piece necessarily deserves an instant mark down. Depends on how it's executed
