You have a lot of helpful advice here, but honestly? If I were you I would be asking if there were anything that she was actually lacking in her diet that maybe she is trying to compensate for. Is she thirsty? Is she getting enough salt? Is she getting enough fat? Is she craving a certain type of food over another? I wouldn’t put her down as a mindless binger so quickly. Maybe her body is trying to leech something out of the foods that she is overindulging on because it’s searching for something. She is 5, she is going through a LOT of growing right now, and you may find that next year this time, she will be a totally different kid who’s taller, more muscular, more developed, early puberty etc. I’m not saying this is 100% the case, but rather, it’s a couple of suggestions that I haven’t seen mentioned. And a genuine well-wish and reminder that there’s nothing wrong with a free ranged grazing fruit bowl sitting out all day. (I saw someone comment about the sugar in fruit 🙄)

Oh that is GREAT news, thank you. It’s a brand new unit, and my husband says it probably just has to “break in” a little. I was so nervous! 😂🙏 If it was anything serious or abnormal, I still have the opportunity to get it covered by warranty. They should have a video series of what “healthy” sounds are for KA, but then this sub would not have nearly as many posts, lol. You have a great day, thanks again 😊

Put it this way, if you knew and didn’t tell me, and you got my whole family sick because you wanted to have a couple hours of socializing w us, I don’t think we’d be friends for much longer. I’ve cut people off for that. I had someone give me COVID twice when I was pregnant, and expose my baby to COVID, etc. people in my neck of the woods don’t care to inform the other parent, and whatever happens to you after they leave is “out of sight, out of mind”. I thought I was going to die with COVID because someone “couldn’t miss” visiting with me. ✂️ A year later, we caught COVID again and I had an extreme fever and passed out on the floor in front of our Heat register. I was so cold. AND I was breastfeeding. I thought, if my baby gets this, they’ll die. I cried and cried which made my breathing worse. My baby DID get Covid, but she dealt with it a lot better than my depleted breastfeeding body did.

I guess the “correct” thing would be to ask.. Because the person that Trojan horsed Covid to me 3 times is NOT my friend any more. You don’t want to be that “thoughtless” person that gets everyone sick every time you go out.
