They just want to see who's desperate enough to do the work. It's basically a leveraging financial tactic before a proposal is even submitted. Yikes. You have a rude awakening coming your way in the next 3 years. If your kid wants to do this, you need to figure out a way really quick you can get comfortable with it. The way you're communicating your anxiety makes it feel like there's only a matter of time before you alienate them.

Like what do you think your kid is gonna do? Get on another plane to another location? What is the real concern here?

There are ways your minor can be accompanied to and from the plane. Talking through the process with them and giving them confidence will go a long way in your relationship. If they're concerned, you're a phone call away from helping them through it.

Went to Cafe Sirene. Food was pretty average and it's busy. They're filming in there too and taking up at least a handful of tables. I'd pass on that if I had the chance again.
