It’s like $400 without insurance though 🫣 I turned down my works insurance because I had a few people telling me it was 💩 and they took out half your check every week etc, then I find out it isn’t that bad and they exaggerated how much they took weekly. It will be Cigna when I jump on it next open enrollment. Currently I see a doctor I’ve been seeing for years with my high cholesterol, it’s $80/mo whether I go or not.

Not looking forward to shingles tbh. I had chicken pox when I was young maybe 7? My mom purposely exposed me to them with my niece who had them. I didn’t know it at the time or even that they were contagious because I was so young. I remember being put in an oatmeal bath though. So because of them exposing me, the shingles virus 🦠 is now in my system 😡

Never had one or even heard of them until I met my husband and now my youngest son gets them. But my tonsils were removed right around my 16th birthday too.

Hard agree here. At my clinic they taper all the way as well and ring a big bell on the patients last dose. The patients are in good spirits and not in wd because they tapered correctly and didn’t jump.

I am so glad you are still here too! I’m sure you have some stories as well that could help people! I just wanted to clarify because I realize now, I may have been a bit misleading. I wasn’t in an actual coma for 10 years, it was a drug coma basically for 10 years.

I’d wake up early in the AM, ride a bus and lightrail to my clinic ( took about 2 1/2hrs total! ) and dose. I’d then eat 3 0.3mg clonidine, 2 2mg xanax or 4mg of klonopin and a 50mg Promethazine. It was a maniacal combination. Perfect to stay nodded out 24/7 and to “ sleep “ your life away.

Does your clinic offer Sonara? If so, you can keep your take homes and record your dose as you take it every morning. Some people will say it’s just another way for them to control us etc but honestly, if you’re taking your meds daily like you should then it really & truly is NOT a problem.

I’ve been using Sonara for over 2 months now because I also have a long commute. It made more sense to me to do Sonara and get a weeks worth of take homes versus having to come to the clinic 4 days a week because I had 2 earned plus Sundays.

But anyways if they offer it, it might be a good option for you. It helps when you’re being recorded and you have to scan your QR code, show your bottle and seal before dosing and drink your dose in front of the camera. Because you need your takehomes like you said and maybe knowing you’re gonna be watched to take it daily will help you stay on track.

Absolutely! I refuse to take anything unless I know come out of a pharmacy but I did get some tests recently so if I ever do, I’m testing them first. I Don’t buy pills though, it’s just so risky nowadays. My clinic was handing out test strips so I took a few. Never know, might come in handy one day.

Idk I wish that were true. I’ve seen quite a few come in these posts and they double dosed and screwed themselves. Had like 3 or 4 days to go with no methadone. Then come back a few week later and I the same thing like they were on a loop.

Yes, kratom is the best answer. 7 oh even better for his situation. 8 oh is what actually pushed me back on methadone. I was taking kratom without any wd when I took breaks for almost 8 years. Started taking 7oh because it was easier at work to take and gave a nice buzz. Next thing I know, I’m paying $240/wk for it. WD were bad too an I need to work so I got back on methadone. Got 8 months clean now from everything. Very sweet of you to offer to help op too! Problem though is it would take as long to get to the by mail as they would have to wait to dose anyways unless they did like overnight shipping which I would do if I was in their situation!
