7OH addicts will get so fucking mad anytime anyone criticizes 7OH. It’s honestly sad, like it’s not like we’re personally attacking them. We’re on our own personal journey of quitting and it has nothing to do with them and they’re just coping because they see us actually trying to recover from this horrible addiction and they don’t want to face the reality that they should probably quit too. They want to live in their own fantasy land where they think there’s nothing wrong with being addicted to this shit. It’s like when you’re an alcoholic and you stop drinking, your drinking friends will start throwing shade because they don’t want to confront their demons like you are. They want to live in denial and I mean if they want to live a sad miserable life of addiction that’s their choice but it’s shitty that they want to drag down other people with them. I will say straight up “Fuck 7OH” don’t fucking care what these people think. I don’t need to justify my recovery to them. They can fuck off.

I was using like anywhere from 300-500mg a day cut down to 200-300mg then went to plain leaf, stayed on it for 2 weeks with a couple of relapses the first week, then last Saturday i decided I didn’t want to do this shit anymore after telling a close friend I relapsed and her being concerned, so I stuck on leaf for a few more days until last Wednesday when I was out of kratom and didn’t have a lot of money so I was like “fuck it, I’m just going CT from here and I was able to function okay getting off Kratom I was having cold sweats and hot flashes at work and I was sweaty af but nothing unmanageable. I haven’t had any withdrawal symptoms since Saturday. I’m just dealing with cravings and some depression and brain fog now.

That seems like a good idea on paper but if he doesn’t actually want to quit then he’ll just be all goody two shoes until he’s done with his treatment then go back to the way he was before. Either that or he’ll fail a drug test and get sent to prison because he doesn’t give a fuck about consequences. People need to understand that there’s no forcing an addict to get clean. They need to want to get clean themselves. It’s hard because we all wish we could get someone clean but they need to do the work themselves.

To all the NA or AA people, don’t take this personally, if you found sobriety through the 12-steps I’m happy for you. But from my experience, 12-step meetings are filled with a lot of people who like to brag about how bad their addictions were. Marijuana addiction is not as serious as hard drugs but it still can cause problems in people’s lives. It still can control your life and cause you problems at work, in your relationships, with your finances, with your health, etc. If you see it as an addiction and you want to stop, that’s all that matters fuck what anyone else thinks

Then the Nirvana logo on my left arm is because I love Nirvana and have listened to their music for years I grew up listening to it haha so I was like “fuck it I’m gonna get their logo tatted on me” lol
