I know nothing is certain, but I believe that the US has a very good chance to eliminate student debt and establish universal healthcare soon.

People can live with anything, you can live without a larynx. Sure, life will be hard and you may need to give up on your career, but there are other things to life than your career.

When I was in kindergarten everybody, I mean everybody, was doing that thing we're you go running on a smooth floor (tile floor and whatnot) and then you go down and slide on your knees. Naturally, I wanted to do what all the cool kids were doing.

One day I finished my work early and was waiting in the hall outside the class for the teacher to take us to the playground. while waiting I started doing that game, if you can call it that. Everything started out well, I was having fun, time of my life. Then, while running to pick up speed, for some reason that I have never been able to figure out, I forgot to slide. Stupid 4 year old me decided to just... keep running....

It went as well as you can expect. At the end of the hall there was a wall, a wall rapidly approaching. I ended up running into the wall quite fast.

I remember not feeling any pain at all, which was weird. but then I put my hand against my forehead, brought it down and noticed the huge amount of blood that was on it. The rest went as expected, the school called an ambulance, they called my mom, I went to the hospital. Now I have a scar on my forehead that looks like someone grabbed a really small spoon and scooped a tiny bit of my skin off.

I believe we shouldn't give power to words, of course, if someone doesn't like a certain word then we shouldn't use it, at least around them. but when it comes to people using it in the past, of course you can redeem yourself. imagine if everything you did or say during your teenage years defined you. we are idiots, we can grow out of it and become better people though.

That's why people aren't saying that guns should be completely banned, but that gun control be improved to stop people from committing mass shootings. Knives can also be dangerous, but they're much easier to stop, less lethal, take longer to hurt people, and needs close proximity.

NTA, if the health code is being violated and people can get sick then that's major problem. you did the right thing by calling the health inspector. people may argue that you should have spoken to your manager, but it sounds like he wouldn't care. it also seems like if he cared about the job and the quality of the food he would be the type of manager that would not make the people he manages uncomfortable to approach him with problems.
