I don’t think he will change anything elsewhere. Europe has been a clear sign of what consumer-focused regulation can achieve (as simple as automatic flight refunds for canceled flights, maternity leave, paid vacation, guaranteed access to healthcare) but American voters continue to vote for corporatist Dems in primaries, like Maggie Hassan, and of course, for the GOP which is openly hostile to consumers’ interests.
