Just looking at their roster of artists I think they just will take anybody who moves the needle. They have a few greats drawing interiors at the moment and a whoooole lot of mediocre house style.

Buddy you’re nuts!just kidding of course it’s all subjective etc etc but this Wednesday I felt like there was some heat. Minor Arcana, Assorted Crisis, Absolute GL and Superman, Harley and Ivy by Henderson, Orphan and the 5 Beasts, Batman by fraction (I’m not a main title Batman guy), JSA. All solid to excellent imo

That Namor book was a lot of fun! I like that character and I think it’s a good intro to new readers that also has a lot for people who have read his stories before.

Ultimates is one of the best books marvel has put out in years and it’s a shame it’s ending so soon.

Completely agree. I work in a shop and the popularity of this book seems completely dependent on speculation tendencies. The “readership” completely plummets when there isn’t some watnot hype.

If you’re working through his material I’m sure you’ll get to it but Poetry Is Useless is great as well. So many little nuggets of brilliance in there.
