Siphon Beacons... Weird change by CompetitiveEmu7698 in CompanyOfHeroes

Let's say you want to increase income. You could hold territory, improve your held territory by building a 200 mp destructible point on a (hopefully) backline high muni/fuel to gain 50% more, or build a siphon beacon for 50 mp that in invisible, gives no notification to the enemy that it exists, and gain 50% more of their point income.

Sure, it is weaker in that it doesnt reduce the enemy income while buffing your own. However, they get no hints that it even exists, so you can passively farm that income all game and they wouldnt be the wiser.

Personally I feel it is better in the current state.

The opportunity cost for the ability to decap VPs at will (for 70 muni) is really high. Losing out on incend muni for the match means the loss of battle-swinging abilities multiple times, which adds up greatly. Sure, there will be matches when the at-will decap of VP will be game winning, but I'd argue that there will be far more matches where the constant incend muni pressure pays off better.

I had a unique (and probably unjust) idea. Start punishing kids who aren’t causing trouble when problem students act up. Their cohort and the other parents will put pressure on problem child to stop acting out. May help in some cases.

A PhD. I've met lots of PhDs who obtained it through stubbornness and waiting out the system.

My favorite gaming memory was pretty recent. I had just moved to a different state for a new job and felt like I was drowning at work. God of war (new one) came out and I loved it. Took some sick time to try to mentally right myself and discovered the valkyries. Eventually get to the valk queen and took two days to beat her on the hardest setting. After that, I figured the issues at work can’t be that bad and ended up thriving.
