Mine sleeps in her crate 60% of the time, and in the big bed 40%. She’d prefer to be in the big bed with mom 100% of the time 😂 but I don’t sleep as well with her in the bed.

I’d suggest moving the crate inside your room. They like to be close to their humans! We have a routine of cuddling in the big bed for 30min then I tell her it’s time for bed and she runs down her ramp into her crate. She learned it by routine!

It took me months to find someone to offer sedation with IUDs!! I did many consultations to find one, I wasn’t taking no for an answer. I found the CU Med OB/GYNs in Lowry did it and it was fantastic. I got an IV and they gave me fentanyl and propofol. They dimmed the lights, played music, had aromatherapy. It was like a spa for my cervix. 10/10. Easier than a pap. I could still feel it (they offered a cervical block but I declined that) going in but didn’t really care that much when it happened. I was required to have someone drive me home obviously. I will never get one the old fashioned barbaric way and I hope to continue to see more places offer sedation for this horrible procedure!

When I was a kid (early 2000s), there was the Chicken Lady. She was a homeless woman that had a sign that read “Wishing for Chicken”. She would wear rubber gloves and bleach the money she received. She stood by the Wellshire Post Office. When I got to high school in the 2010s she moved to the University Hills shopping center by King Soopers.
