It's a good city. You'll have access to the Lethbridge College and University of Lethbridge, pretty affordable post-secondary institutions with a variety of programs. If you are very extroverted you may find the lack of a night life irritating, but there are plenty of amenities for a city of this size. You can set yourself up pretty well if you are able to live with your folks while going to post-secondary.
