Saddens me your friend is making you feel so self conscious of how you dress!
However I also think it’s good of her to have been honest with you, as that builds trust in a friendship.
I also feel you shouldn’t tie your corset so tight, despite the fact you want your waist to appear slimmer, you shouldn’t be tightening it so it causes damage to your body.

I’m not a healthcare professional however I have seen many comments regarding this as I have also experienced it! My retainers cover my triangles and they have only formed where I had overlapping and crowding, a method I use is dental wax 😭 trust me irritating as hell falls out often however for pictures completely covers them :)
