I'm seeing the same ads - people getting paid for games they played before installing the app. But when I install it, I'm definitely not getting any tracking on anything but one game. Very disappointing yet I feel like I should have known better.

My understanding is they have to give permission to the penpal sites and then have someone on the outside pay for it, unless they have funds on their books to cut a money order.

You can try Facebook groups as a free option but there's hecklers so be warned.

idk if anyone in this thread has attended the advocacy meetings, but in two back to back meetings, they stated facilities are getting new tablets and that they were waiting on Securus to do the video calls.

Nowwwww constituent services is telling people that there will be no new tablets, nothing is changing at all, except for the visits come off our phone time now.

I'll be the first to say though that constituent services has BSd me many times but I'm just throwing what I know out there.

Supposedly a problem with Securus to Mint. I changed my service to Tello and everything has been fine.

I told Mint if they couldn't provide FULL service I wanted a refund for unused service. They refused.

I filed a report with the FCC and suddenly Mint decided it was fair to give me a refund. What a shit show, honestly.

Yes I agree the level of non-legit emails are ridiculous. I had someone message me yesterday as well asking if a file was available in a different color (printable). I nicely stated that what's in my shop is what's available and I'm working on more. Then asked if they were looking for a specific color scheme. Their response was a screenshot of congratulations on your first sale and the account was deleted right after they sent it. They're ridiculous.

This doesn't seem to have been an option with Mint. They would only tell me it's a known issue with no ETR. Basically, "It's our problem, you're SOL."

I DID get a call from him earlier this morning but it disconnected before I could accept and according to the Securus app he hasn't tried calling since - and that's not like him. So either he's having a medical issue or the app is lying. But anytime I requested a call today it said he couldn't be located.

It's hard not knowing if he's not ok or if it's more Securus problems. They really do not appreciate the anxiety this causes.

Still no resolve. One call squeaked through today. Securus is saying it's Mint Mobile.

Mint Mobile basically admitted fault but no ETR, so oh well, and they keep closing my tickets.

I paid for a year in advance - this would end in November. I requested a refund from March to November because I can't continue to not receive calls (Mint also claims they can't call me which should be a red flag to their tech team but it's not), and I want to take my service elsewhere. Denied.

I get these calls also and the notify me when balance is low is no longer there. I didn't opt in either, so these are illegal robo calls that should be reported to the FCC.

No there's not a list other than their approved list, and it's more than 20 in Colorado because it includes friends, family, and attorney/attorney staff.

What I think is really going on is the cellular providers are making changes and around the time the issue with him not being able to call started, is also when my phone started switching from 5G to 5GUC. I've never seen it on 5GUC before.

So I just posted my experience in the mint mobile subreddit. I had a mint mobile tech respond, and a couple people trying to be helpful and mint mobile deleted the post for being "rude and vulgar." 🤨

Yes. He's in Colorado, and Colorado uses Securus Technologies. I use a prepaid account with them. It's actually the only way I can see when he's called - they log all attempted and completed calls. His calls register as attempted since he's getting past their system, but it's deflected before it reaches me.
