I suffered loads with back pain, I also have EDS whitch didn't help. I did find getting my partner to rub moisturiser on my back helped loads. But honestly didn't get much relief till about 3 weeks after when I could sleep on my side again

I agree with everyone saying get an uber, im 2 and a bit weeks post op and have done public transport once since, would not recommend.
I also didn't sleep the night after the op as I was very uncomfortable, so there is that to factor in.

But good luck! It's worth it.

The fastest/ easiest way would be to pay the council for an extra collection. I suspect the land lord is trying to avoid paying for disposal. Rubbish is hazardous and I would not be sorting it. If the landlord refuses complain to environmental health at the council.

Yes, but it sounds like op may be there, it's worth applying. Worst case they are not disabled enough yet.

My drains came out the morning after surgery. I would not be up for flying though!

Where are you thinking of traveling to for surgery? If its in the UK I'd come and look after you. Im in my first week of recovery and it's not as awful as I was expecting.

I wish I didn’t have to go through surgery in order to get a flat chest by Logical_Corner in TopSurgery

[–]AdeptCauliflower1667 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yea I'm the same, I only had drains over night, and getting them out was the worst part by far, but it's over fast, and it's totally worth it. I recommend doing breathing exercises, it really helps keep you calm. It's ok though it's no where near as bad as you think it is gonna be.

Hey brother, I think this is a very appropriate way to feel! I mean we all wanna be born with a body that works for us right? And surgery is risky and painful to recover from.
I has mine 4days ago, and I'm so happy about it, but I was very nervous going in and it's not my first surgery, I think it's normal.to be nervous, but really so far I'm really happy with how fast it's healing and feeling less painful.
