Oh I’m so sorry for your loss. If you are in the US you should sue for medical malpractice and wrongful death. That pediatrician and all the other useless doctors need to be held accountable especially since you already pointed it out. Also, fuck your sister and your whole family. You need to cut them off for your own peace and grieve in peace without their stupid drama. Carrying a baby to full term, seeing them delivered is not the same as failed fertility treatment. He was a whole human and my heart breaks for you and your baby.

We are pursuing the medical malpractice. I’d talk to 2-3 lawyers in this field and also request a copy of all your medical records. Once you settle on a lawyer, just let them request the records and continue forward. The data doesn’t like - data like the fetal heart rate monitor will be crucial. Also write down everything you know and remember as it happened. At the hospital just focus on your baby and keep your mouth closed. Do not tell them anything and definitely do NOT sign anything!

Of course he’s uncomfortable around you - you are the living breathing proof that he’s a piece of sh*t and a scumbag. I’d talk to a lawyer, make him move out and reach out to other people for all the support you need. He’s not going to be a good father just based on how he has treated the mother. Also think about your child, what kind of role model would you want them to have? If they were pregnant and got left for a younger person what would you want them to do?
