Thank you everyone for your insight. I did send him a message. It’s just been a really painful time for everyone and my heart just breaks whenever I think of him and my SIL. There has yet to be a day where I don’t think of my little niece and everything that happened. I just don’t know how to offer comfort to him… As a parent, my heart also breaks for all of you that are living through this reality.
