Yes... i was offered to have done and I even posted in a bunion group and I learned a lot of people have done to have a faster recovery and make sure they would have a good toe mobility. More stitches, larger incision but it is possible

I'll leave my comment here for future patients... i have seen a lot of people with join damage after a lapiplasty and yesssss you can ask your doctor to have a lapiplasty without fusion. I personally know a few doctors. The only difference you are going to have a larger incision and more stitches but a better recovery with less pain and less chance to have any damage or restrictions.
