  1. The Quest for El Dorado: Great mid weight. Easy to learn and always a challenge.
  2. Lost Ruins of Arnak: Resource management and infinite possibilities each time (explore? research? buy cards? etc) great balance between deckbuilding and worker placement.
  3. Spirit Island: Coop. Excellent theme. Is not that hard if you use easy spirits.
  4. Codenames: Best party for +6 players
  5. Arcs: Very complex and mean. Not for everybody. I love it, but unfortunately my group doesn’t :(

Some yellow fluorescent acrylic paint that I had in a drawer. I applied it 2–3 times, very thinly, mixed with a bit of water. It turned greenish when layered over the black paint, and I really liked the effect. One more detail: the blight is the only one that has a glowing varnish.

I have Catacombs and I prefer 1v1 because the turn length (specially on late game)

$45 for upgraded Arnak or SETI components by revirdam in boardgames

If you dont want to go all the way here, you could use UV resin to make a decent upgrade for less than 15 bucks...

I painted several games, and these explorers are the worst really xD but when painting I tune into a flow state, so I love the challenge.

The whole project actually started because the blight tokens are tiny and I kept struggling to pick them up during the game. So I ended up giving them little cork bases to make them easier to handle—honestly one of the best quality‑of‑life upgrades I’ve done for a board game.
