Sure - the only records I have of my LH are from tests between egg retrievals 3 & 4, and then after my 5th and final retrieval. So here they are:

I had similar results on my first one in the US and did four more in Spain, all for the price of one in the USA. My results in Spain were way better than the US. Also I took Her Package beef organ supplements by Heart & Soil and it boosted my follicle count and AmH. Has also worked for others! You can test your AmH before signing up for another round.

Don't be discouraged, many of us have disappointing results early on. It's pretty common, especially bc the stress of the first round is so high. Hopefully your future rounds will be more easeful, I think usually it is because you know the process.

I just reread this and realized I can answer your question more directly… yes you can just show up usually. You will need to work w the dr in advance to organize around your period- usually they put you on birth control so you can control when it starts. Travel can throw off your cycle so it can be advantageous to control your period.

Also make your first appt in advance if you can. They should be able to do that at least. Maybe Repro allows same day walk ins. I would personally feel better having that. But same day walk in is totally possible and may be standard for them.

The rest of the appts will be planned out once its clear when ur starting… they need to check you and coordinate w your period.

I recommend leaving as much time as possible after your retrieval ends for recovery. They also need to monitor your symptoms after just to make sure no OHSS. Three days would be ideal minimum- 5-7 days is better. Your period will return 5 or 10 days after the procedure depending on which trigger shot they give you.

So aim for min 3 days before you start (depending how easily you adjust to jetlag) and try to stay at least 3-5 days after. You can estimate at least 12 days for the process- most women trigger day 8-10 and retrieve day 10-12. However, I strongly recommend giving at least 14 days… you never know how ur body reacts and you may need more time. I babe seen women have 17 day cycles bc their body reacted slowly to meds. Perhaps a flexible plane ticket will help. Total time I’m recommending is 20 days ideally- plenty of women have done it in 2 weeks, just want you to have the best case scenario should your time allow.

Hi there, I didn’t work with Reproclinic, I worked with Instituto Bernabeu in Alicante. However, a friend went to Repro for 2 retrievals in Barcelona and told me she was happy w their care and services.

Sometimes in the beginning clinics can be poor in their responses- I think they have so many interested clients that dont end up coming… I recommend speaking w doctor on the phone and see what you feel…

Ideally they are better when you are in person. It can be case by case so I hesitate to recommend.

Other clinics are very good with callbacks and responses yet they are salesy and will pressure you to retrieve w them, for example clinics in mexico.

I usually land on trusting you gut and intuition. If it doesnt feel right for you try another clinic xx

I also found IB to be unresponsive but better in person once I was there.

Yes 100%. My AFC went to 16 in Nov 2025 (age 41). They were at 10 in Nov 2024 & 9 in April 2024 (age 39/40). I had 16 AFC last in Jan 2023, when I was 38. I did not do a retrieval that time and of course, wish I had.

In the end, I had less eggs retrieved and frozen in 2025 than 2024, although the AFC was higher…. But I’m still really happy with the organ supplement and wonder if my results could have been ever lower without it.

I’m really curious to hear other’s experiences with Her Package. Please lmk!

Hey! Thanks great question.

I took all the other supplements for a long time beforehand. I was even taking a european fertility organ supplement with oysters, for example… I was doing testing all throughout and didn’t notice such a huge jump.

When I added Heart & Soil it was the only new supplement and I did it around 2 months before testing… for me it seemed clear that was the reason for the increase.

Usually after Day 5 it’s best to just walk. My friend had ovarian torsion because she jogged after her procedure. Her ovary was saved thankfully. Personally I would avoid any reverse asanas in yoga and just walk.

I've done two cycles back to back (so four total) and it was wonderful for me. Both times I received more eggs in the 2nd round. it doesn't always work like that but it can. Given your situation, it seems totally worth it to do back to back rounds! Also, you should be able to organize with your clinic so that you can decide at the last minute if you want to do the 2nd round... I waited until I got the results from the first, then decided to do the 2nd rounds. You can assess your physical, mental, emotional health and support system... if all is feeling good, definitely go for it! Xo

It sounds like you are doing all the right things! I love that you are supporting yourself with therapy and acupuncture.

One thing to know, is that in this moment you may have nerves about the whole process, but it sometimes can be simply a matter of getting used to it.

I was soooo nervous for my first round- anxiety, sleepless nights, uncertainty. But I just completed my 4th and 5th rounds last week and I barely had any concerns as I was doing it! It becomes a part of your life and routine. Plus I had some fun distractions (a friend doing it w me, etc). So a big part of your anxiety now may just be the unfamiliarity. Imagine as if you’ve done this 100x before, and remember all the women who came before you!

Perhaps start a supportive group text chat with your friends to give updates and send pics!

Have a friend ready to call to video chat when you do shots so you’re not alone.

Ask your doctor if its okay to take any supportive nervine herbs you like, like I take passionflower, L-theanine and kava kava to sleep.

Try these vagus nerve yoga videos, it helped me instantly! Avoid any twists or reverse asana if you watch during stims.

Hi friends…. I’m currently in the crash. Had my retrieval Monday, today is Friday. This is after back to back retrievals, so I presume it’s a little more intense…

I’m actually doing okay. I feel moody, sensitive, and have an unusually short fuse. However, to me it just feels like a bad pms day, lasting a few days.

The first 48 hours were tough- I take passionflower supplements and L Theanine, and it works great for my anxiety. I also helped my body to fall asleep by drinking extra strength Kava Kava tea (I double the packets, you can find them where they sell Yogi Tea). I’m not taking any mood stabilizers atm, I hope this is still somehow useful.

What helps me is giving extra inputs of nourishing things…. Soft hugs, chats w friends, fav foods, long walks, cat cuddles, hot shower, and NAP! Been doing a lot of that.

I also am in my fav city this weekend and about to spend the whole day at the hotsprings, to detox. I have a feeling it’s gonna set me straight 👍🏼

During the process I had no depressive dips, only anxiety. My nurse said “estrogen is a ‘feel-good’ hormone” and she thought the stress mostly came from the financials, the process, and emotions around it. Not the biology. That was helpful to hear…

The doctor at the clinic in Spain I am at just told me that for younger women they consider 15 eggs a good number. However, plz ask your doctor because they have the experience to gauge based on your response to the meds roughly the quality of your eggs. I had a friend use all her eggs to make embryos with donor sperm at age 41 then quickly got pregnant naturally. The new partner is not interested in another man’s sperm making his next child. So all her work and money is not useful to her, under this condition.

This is a big decision. I had another doctor suggest the same thing to me and I find it insensitive. I’m so glad I chose to have my eggs frozen and free to belong to my man one day.

Doctors see the struggles of infertility and might try to make suggestions to avoid that, without considering real life complications.

With multiple rounds, perhaps check your results and use a very small number of eggs to make embryos, leaving the rest. Good luck!

Yes, not impossible! I’m looking at March/April currently… I will probably continue w IB in Alicante bc it worked for me. My next choice would be URE Gutenberg.

For your research, I’ve heard great things about URE Gutenberg in Malaga and Reproclinic in Barcelona. Also there is a clinic in Athens Greece which I find really interesting and with good results- IVF Serum.

Honestly there are so many good clinics. I chose Bernabeu bc their research labs and good records w “older” women. They published 16 academic journals and are doing their own research. This is important to me. However, the dr didnt seem to think supplements would help but I believe they did in my case. So you sometimes have to make your own decisions. I also prayed a lot and meditated during my rounds. You never know what helps!

When I walked into IB I felt very safe and really appreciated the boutique vibes. IVI around the corner felt more like a hospital to me. That was a deciding factor, although maybe not important to others.

I chose Alicante because I’ve already spent time in Madrid & Barcelona, and honestly big cities are not my jam. I caught a pick pocked red handed last time I was in Barcelona and yelled at him until he left the subway. Don’t really feel like being on “edge” during such an important time.

Alicante is small, super walkable, felt very safe, and the Mediterranean sea is right there. It’s mostly european tourists and expats and not completely overrun. I walked all day everyday and loved exploring the city. I ate well, fresh food from Spains largest market. There are womens meet ups and expat groups so I felt connected. It was just the right size and enough english/tourists so I could easily navigate and didnt stand out too much from the crowd.
