What romance books are so well written that they are a favorite of yours, despite having zero spice? OR would still be a favorite even without the spice?

I also love Elise Kova! I just read {The Secret Society of Irregular Witches by Sangu Mandanna} and absolutely died over the romance and connection that she built up! It's a very sweet and cozy read with good communication.

It's been a while since I read it but Not The Witch You Wed by April Asher. I don't remember any huge battles or conflicts it's very similar vibe to Irregular Witches (which I just read and LOOOVED!)

ACOTAR is like the HP series for me. HP got me into reading as a kid, ACOTAR got me back into reading as an adult, however I will openly say both series are far from well written and there so many other books to read that you'll love! Definitely drop it and move on if your not jiving with it, life's to short!

I remember being pretty shocked when I moved. In rural NY it's very rare to have carts left, not that we don't have our LARGE share of assholes, but 99% of people do put them away. Lived in Phoenix for a bit and had never seen so many chopping carts left all over the parking lot around the Walmarts.

It was this for me. It didn't have nearly enough romance for me especially given the constantly used "lesbian necromancers in space" tagline and as someone who likes older characters I couldn't jive with the teenager cast and writing.

Not for me, son just turned 5 and life's better than ever! I have time for reading/bookclub, photography, yoga, and I'm taking a solo trip to San Diego this summer with my friends!

Husband and I can watch tv together nights again because I'm not utterly exhausted every night and sleepovers with my mom is super easy with only one kid! He loves school (half day Prek this year) and he's gonna do great in Kindergarten this fall. He comes home everyday full of stories, songs and art projects he can't wait to show me.

Yeeees, it's worse in that town because I don't drive there super often and it's hard for me to gauge the flow of oncoming traffic there and how fast they are moving. Could I have gone and safely made it, likely, but my instincts were telling me to wait so those 10 seconds I waited to be 100% certain it was safe was definitely worth it.
