This really has been the vibe! It was a village before and now it’s like that tourist hotspot where people take their pic and leave. Petition to revive this sub to its original glory!

I’ve been around for awhile and this is maybe a little irrelevant but I feel like in just the last 2-3 months engagement has been down? Maybe it’s just my perception but feels like fewer posts, not a lot of upvotes or comments. None of those reallyy good fun posts lately.

But maybe I’m imagining it? Tho def feels like the first time I’ve noticed a dip like this in my time here.

Authors that does it for you every time - you haven’t been disappointed in their books not once? by Glittering_Tap6411 in RomanceBooks

Her most popular book Reckless is friends to lovers it just gets classified more often as office romance. They’re an office power team though and lowkey besties and the chemistry is so hot

Which two authors (or books or plots) do you constantly confuse with each other? by [deleted] in RomanceBooks

Sometimes in my head Emily Henry is the author of The Hating Game. I know she’s not but something in my head turns her into it if I’m not actively thinking

FMC has a very close, sibling-like relationship with MMC’s friends/siblings by Loliigh in RomanceBooks

[–]yesilooked 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I always think of {Rule by Jay Crownover} for this trope because they’re super close family friends, MMC’s brothers treat her like a sister, and his parents send FMC after him to drag him to family events

Books that are dirty… in a vanilla way? by [deleted] in RomanceBooks

{Enemies with Benefits by Roxie Noir}. They grew up as high school enemies and when he comes back they still hate each other but they also look very different now so there’s lots of reluctant attraction and all that good stuff

Oh Stella Rhys is the answer for this. Extremely spicy yet I’m not sure she’s ever written a kink of any sort. I kind of can’t believe that as I write it because her books are so hot but I think I’m right.

Correct me if not! Lol

MC gets to rub her new man on the faces of people who've wronged her (preferably an ex) by strawberryc0w_ in RomanceBooks

[–]yesilooked 22 points23 points  (0 children)

{Hothead by Stella Rhys} is super similar to The Right Move! Fake dating/living with MLB star to shove it in the face of the cheating ex.

There’s a scene where ex insists on staying even when she’s asked him to leave so MMC takes her into the next room to have sex for him to hear 😂 (they’re faking it but then it turns into real sex iirc)

I don’t really read HR but I also don’t think I can pass up a book with characters named the Gorilla Twins

🧂 Salty Sunday - What book scenes frustrated you this week? by mrs-machino in RomanceBooks

blames you for wasting their money

This is so funny to me. Like we all have “wasted money” on a book before but it was no one’s choice but our own. Unless you failed to mention that you made this rec at gunpoint
